What We Love About St Lambrecht:

The village is located in the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park attracting visitors throughout the year thanks to numerous activities during the summer and the winter season. The resort offers amazing slopes, cross-country skiing, sledging and ice-skating during winter months, and hiking, biking, tennis during the summer season. This village perfectly suited to families looking for relaxation and peace as it is far away from mass tourism. The quiet atmosphere makes St. Lambrecht a very family and child-friendly destination.

Ski Scene:

St. Lambrecht is a hidden gem as it is far away from mass tourism and is perfectly suited to families and children.

On offer in St. Lambrecht is a total of 12km of skiing with a total of 3km of blue runs for beginners and children to learn on, 9km of red runs, and 0.5km of black runs as well as 13km of freeride routes. Besides skiing, you can enjoy sledging, ice-skating and cross-country skiing.

In addition to its wide kilometres of red and blue slopes, a ski school with a baby lift, magic carpet and carousel give the little ones the opportunity to learn easily. Parents can watch their children on sun decks next to the children’s paradise.

At an altitude of up to 1900m, the view of the mountains is amazing and the visibility of the St. Lambrecht’s Benedictine Monastery is exclusive.

Summer Fun:

St. Lambrecht makes a fantastic summer destination thanks to its warm temperatures and scenic lakes. Besides a wide range of hiking and cycling trails across the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park, there are also places of interest, such as St. Lambrecht’s 900-year-old Benedictine Monastery.

Free time activities such as tennis, volleyball, beach volleyball, football, in-line skating and fishing are all available in the village. There is also a climbing park and paragliding for the more adventurous! In the centre of town it is also possible to rent mountain bikes, and hiking or mountain sports equipment.

Furthermore, there is the opportunity to explore various lakes such as the Auerlingsee, Furtnerteich, Grasluppteiche, Muehlener Badesee and Podolerteich in the middle of the mountains.

The resort also boasts fantastic golf courses including a new indoor golf area located directly in St. Lambrecht. Further well-known golf clubs are Golfclub Lungau, Golfclub Murau-Kreischberg, Styrain Mountain Golf Mariahof and Golfclub Murtal, which offer up to 18-holes.
