Wargrain continues to attract skiers to it’s pistes every winter, with it’s ski season lasting into the spring months. All of our ski property for sale in Wagrain boasts access to guaranteed snow across 120km of slopes, modern ski lifts and even a mountain railway,  Wagrain offers 34km of blue runs, 82km of red runs, 4km of black runs, and a total of 26km of cross-country skiing across 7 different runs.

The ski region features many other activities for non skiers alike including ice skating, Nordic walking and for the more daring, ice climbing and paragliding, where you can take in the incredible views. Travel on one the many newly refurbished ski lifts to the peak of the mountain where you will be reaching altitudes of nearly 2,000m. You can descend on one of the 7 skating courses Wagrain has to offer to top off a perfect day of skiing!

Summer Fun:

Despite the Wagrain region’s reputation as a world class winter resort, it is also a great summertime destination thanks to warm temperatures and the great variety of activities on offer.

Wagrain attracts cyclists and hikers every year for it’s wonderful trails and great scenery. There are many places to be explored and using one of the 11 ski lifts you can bring your bike along too and cycle down 60km of marked trails. Why not stop at one of the 10 Alpine huts along the way too!

Other activities include local tennis courts, horse riding and a swimming pool with sauna and for the more daring, paragliding, rock climbing and rafting in the crystal clear lakes. The impressive Wagrain Water World will keep the whole family busy, with 1,000 sqm of water it offers indoor and outdoors pools with a turbo slide, kiddie pool, 4 water slides, a massage beach and a luscious lawn perfect for sunbathing. Open throughout the year it can offer the perfect break from bad weather as well as the perfect outing on a sunny day!
